    Caught this monster 15 lb 7 oz carp on worm while fishing for bait. Was a great fight on 6 lb test.

    Skipped my schools homecoming to go fishing! Glad I did! Caught 9 catfish smallest being 3lbs. This one was 13lbs 1oz. My personal best channel catfish!

      The guys caught it at night and couldn't take it to a certified weigh in station until morning so they tied it up to come back and pull it out in the morning ...more and it got away. Vid on YouTube @FlatheadHunter

      @FlatheadHunter there was a new unofficial state record fish caught last August out of the skuke in Philly. Unofficially weighed in at 55lbs. Would've smoked ...more the current record

      No, blue marsh lake had the record, but I'm saying there are def bigger flatheads in the river just yet to be caught

      Yeah I've seen your photos very nice fish! My friend caught a 13 lb flathead a few months back in the same location. There are some big flatheads in the Susquehanna

    This monster skate bit on my first cast into the bay. Unfortunately it was to heavy to bring up onto the pier. Estimated weight over 55lbs. Straighten a very strong ...more hook that I have used for years.

      Use creek chub minnows. Run hook through the mouth to the tail & step on it. Use float 1'-2' off bottom cast far and work it looking for bite. They school ...more up so throw back to spot. Fill your stringer.

      Circle or khale hooks are good, I fish them 2' under a float. Shad, hotdogs, stink baits, shrimp, bread, dough baits and cut carp all work well.

      For eating size channels, cut perch, or small live. It's been hot in TX, and the fish have moved from the real shallow, to the 4-6 fow. If it has not been too ...more hot try the 2-4 fow range.

      I like to use chicken liver on the bottom or mackerel. But I also see people using stink bait, anchovies, dough, etc.

      @bassman7 I go to the grocery store or whatever & buy chicken livers and let them sit in the sun for a few hours before I go. Or if they have whole fish there ...more grab a cheap one and do the same thing.

      Dead shrimp or mullet chunks what ever you use make sure it smells really nasty, so they can follow the scent at night. Oh yeah and good luck, don't get barbed
