    Went up to Pleasant Lake in Deerfield,NH. Asked the locals if they had any tips, advised spoons and slow troll near the shore/banks. This 12" trout took my ...more rooster tail and then jumped 3 ft out the water. 11am/ 67 degrees. Medium action rod/12 lb fluro. Watermelon color rooster tail. Only catch of the day.

      It is a scrawled cow fish very hard to catch because they have small mouths and will bit ur finger if they get a chance

  10. Details: Lake Trout with a Rooster Tail-yellow

    6pm woke up from a nap and went back out after a day of no catches. Threw out my rooster tail and slowly trolled at a depth of about 25ft. What a fun fight this ...more guy put up. I clearly didn't know how to hold him since it was my first trout ever! Love fishing.
