      I add a larger treble to the front so it rides lower in the water. You can then choose between popping or walking or both.

    Still a few on the beds so the top water action parallel to the shore is a good way to go. Explosive strikes and great runs to deeper water.

    Cranking for smallies when I hooked into a nice one. Just as I got it to the boat, it spit the hook and all I wound up with was its last meal - a 3" long emerald ...more shiner that was mostly digested.
