      thank you everyone so glad to know!and thank you she was so excited to catch it!she kept saying she couldnt do it then she was sittin there upset and her pole jerked ...more and there it was haha.now she loves fishing 🐟

      Texas lake so would be 20"-28" slot I believe.

      Good catch! To be safe always check species + size limits before keeping (if you plan to keep!). Most states are pretty strict for redfish between ~15 to ~24 inches ...more depending. Don't want anyone to get in trouble! :)
