Large Mouth hitting great today. Didn’t count exact numbers but estimate 40-50 caught in 5 hours this morning. They were not all big but, all were fun. Caught along ...more shorelines/docks Northwest and Southeastern Shores produced well. At one point I was 5/5 casts vs caught fish.

Fished Balsam Lake 19-26 May '17. Seemed Zoom Fluke (baby bass) was a favorite across Bass, Rock Bass, and Northerns. We found Bass along rock shore lines, ...more be it at the rock wall, Island shore lines, or Little Balsam shores. Crankbaits (bright yellow or natural crawfish color) and Mepps (day glow yellow) spinners produced as well. Also wacky-head with natural crawfish or finesse worm worked well. Good Luck!!
