1. Was gonna do some ice fishing, but I get to the lake and all the ice is off!! So I had some shorts in and decided to do some wading. I was throwing trout lures today ...more get some rainbow trout and this, I believe crappie (correct me if I’m wrong), struck my lure. Gosh I was so scared when I got it in, it has sharp teeth!!!

15 lb. 15 in. Blacknose Crappie with a Dynamic Trout Spinnerbait

I’m very confused. i thought this was a cool catch
    4. Shawn Gearinger 0
I felt the same way Scott! You arent going to wade in water that is fresh ice out, either.
    5. Scott S 0
The whole story sound "fishy" to me....Planned on ice fishing is shorts and a t-shirt, not a crappie, if that bass weighed 15 pounds, it could not have ...more been 15 inches.....and the picture is of an awesome largemouth bass, at least 20+ inches long. Sorry, the story just don't add up.
    6. Shawn Gearinger 0
That would be a fine largemouth bass!πŸ‘πŸΌπŸŽ£πŸŸ

    1. Jimbo Harwood 0
Thanks Shawn.. That's what I thought too.. lol
    2. Shawn Gearinger 0
That is not what the website says. It says catch and release only out of season. Seems pretty clear to me.
    3. Gabriel Her 0
You can't target Bass at all out of season. If you read the handbooks you'd know that. The only time you can CnR is when it's open a week prior to CnE. ...more Go read the handbook before you illegally spawn fish. That just ruins the production of bass.
    4. Charles Hansen 0
      Minnesota*
    5. Charles Hansen 0
I don't really care if people target them, I couldn't care less. I wish the laws were different in Ann
    6. Charles Hansen 0
Really I thought in Minnesota you can't target them
    7. Jimbo Harwood 0
Even if it is out of season, you can fish for them, you just can't bring them home.. but taking a pic, then putting it back unharmed is legal.. At least it ...more is in Mi..(except spawning walleye and pike..).
    8. Shawn Gearinger 0
At least one of us is confused? Out of season?
    9. Charles Hansen 0
You know that is illegal to target bass out of season. Just a tip I wouldn't do it again.
    10. Will Hanson 0
I caught this last year and yes it is outa season
    11. Charles Hansen 0
