1. I hooked a much larger pike, high 30's possibly 40 inches, the same day but lost it as my dad and I tried to net it with a net too small for the fish. This fish ...more here was a fun catch too though and will have to do.

Sweet! I was wondering if it might be a sauger. I caught it on the French River in Canada. In another picture of this fish I did see a slightly white tip on the ...more bottom of the tail fin like a walleye though but the color of this fish is pretty interesting.

Today I used Sudden Impact catfish bait for the first time at Riverfront Park on the Susquehanna. The bait worked great. Caught and released 17 channel cats.
  4. Caught this fishing a creek that isn't known to have pickerel

2 lb. 18 in. Chain Pickerel with a spinner

  5. I was fishing along shore at the Chaudierre Rapids on the French River in Canada when this musky swam past my feet. It posted up 20 feet from me in the water to ...more likely feed on smallmouth. I threw one cast towards it and it slammed the wooden bird lure. A catch I will never forget!

About

The unknowing is what drives me to fish. Not knowing what the next cast could lead to. Large rivers like the Susquehanna could produce a monster ...more when least expected.
