Went out for a day trip yesterday up to and around Raleigh. Found a nice area to fish the bank of Nuese River and a feeder creek. I was only there for about 45 ...more mins and Hokies up a 2 1/2lb LM on jerk bait.
It's at a park called Anderson Point Park. For some reason I'm not able to get on the map and Mark location.

Details: Boundary Line Lake
Fort Bragg Lake, pretty shallow from most of shoreline, east side near overflow seemed to be 10 or so feet... I didn't get any bites.

Josh, what river? I was out on cape fear Saturday, only bight was a baby, like 7 inches... But was a nice day to be on the river.

Always up for a fishing trip, but as far as boat, I just have a single person inflatable... I'm considering also getting a yak soon, but don't have anywhere ...more to store a larger boat, so not going that route yet.

If u ever r looking for someone to fish with I'm a tech at Chatlee. Tight lining crappie is my favorite thing.
