Thanks! Just back from Canada and we killed the walleye with 1/4 oz jig and night crawler.

Gary, I will be up there the last week in July. The night bite is usually some of the best walleye fishing on both bodies of water. Lindy rigs also work well in ...more 15 to 25 foot areas. Look for points or humps near deep water. Crawlers work best. I would recommend trolling flicker shads and shad raps in 10 to 7 foot water in weeds. Areas should be close to deep water.

I have a daughter and son in-law that live just outside of Cass lake. we are planning to visit in July for a long weekend. I will have my 17' Tracker boat , ...more just wondering if you have any advise for some walleye fishing? We have been fishing the Hackensack and Backus area in the fall for years.
      Thanks!
