  3. 4-1-17 WEEKLY LAKE ANNA REPORT: Overall the fish didn't get lock jaw to bad, after the cold front and rain this week. When we launched (Sturgeon Creek Marina) ...more the air temp was hovering 50 degrees and the water temperature was between 54-57 depending on where you are at. The early morning bite was tough, because of the cold air temps falling water temperatures at nice the bass were not very active. However, once the sun got up and the water temperature started to climb again, the bass began to stir. I was not able to catch and fish shallow so we backed off just a little bit and started fishing that 12-20ft range. All of our fish were caught with slow retrieves, just dragging the bottom with a Carolina Rig or Drop Shot. Most of our fish were caught off main lake points with the exception of a few smaller fish that came off the bridge on the main lake. Hope you guys have a great week and don't forget to follow us on Instagram: @n1outdoorsnbassador

Thinking the fish should be really starting to bite with the weather as warm as it's been yet I've seen very little posted from Anna
  5. Good evening everyone! Dylan, Are you going to the Richmond expo on Saturday? I'm heading down there with couple buddies on Saturday, thought we could meet up.
    3. Dylan Adams 0
Oh okay sounds good. I am fairly new to the area and don't know many people, I was just trying to find someone to fish the Elite Series with.
    4. Bryan Ross 0
No I am not. As much as I love to fish Anna I just can't put any more on my schedule. My club will be fishing Anna this coming season 3 times. Twice on hot side ...more and a night TX on cold side.

  7. Yesterday(1-13-17)was are first day on the water at Lake Anna, we were really excited to get on the water but it was a fairly slow day. The air temperature was in ...more the 50's and water temperature was low 40's so my first impression was that it would be a very productive day. I started out using my electronics and cruising the main lake points that the channel ran up against trying to find the schools of bait fish. I was able to find three or four points that had the baitfish on them but was very tough to get a bite. I threw the Alabama Rig, deep suspending jerkbait, silver buddy, and a jig. I caught two largemouth in the pound to pound and half range, not very good but it was a start. I caught both on a green pumpkin jig with a rage tail craw (green pumpkin with a little red flake). The fish were very particular on the presentation of the jig, if the jig came off the bottom any at all it was game over. I just simply dragged it across the bottom just an inch or two at a time and if I came in contact with anything on the bottom I would pull it over it ( rock or stump) and just let it sit for ten seconds or so. I will be fishing again within the next couple days and hopefully will be able to put more in the boat then what I did yesterday so I can give you guys a little better information. Till next time good luck on the water! Instagram: @n1outdoorsnbassador

Love those rage claws! I've been doing well in the backs of creeks just using a white flat sided 2 1/2" squarebill with a very slow retrieve. Held up to ...more 11 bass and 2 rocks then mangled by a small catfish who was foul hooked.
    2. Dylan Adams 0
You're welcome! I will be providing these reports weekly. However I might not be able to get one out this week because I'm in the process of buying a new ...more boat!

On the public side right past Anna point marina and then south of the bridge right there. I apologize that was my first time on lake Anna so I haven't learned ...more the names of all the creeks yet
    2. Allen Shenk 0
Public side or private? I hooked 2 week and a half ago on public side both around 5 lb and both got off right near the boat
