    Casting the net into the water for shad off the dock in about 8 fow when I pulled up this largemouth. It was mostly cloudy with a little bit of a breeze.

  5. Details: Bluegill Sunfish with a San Juan worm (in picture) | red egg fly | Prince nymph | 5x fly leader and tippet | redington 4 wt 7ft crosswater rod and reel

    I was fishing with @TCave for bluegill and green sunfish in 1-3 fow. I caught 17 total this one being the average size. 6 were caught on San Juan worm, 2 on the ...more egg fly, and 9 on the nymph.

      If you are going for them in deep water from 20 - 30 feet then use a slab just bouncing it of the bottom and if it is warm enough you can snag them off the top of ...more the water with a spoon when they are

      spoons and baits that imitate shad. they will hit pretty much anything though. slabs also work well
