    Tournament on Clinton Saturday. Small club tourney.. They are calling for up to 50mph gust out of the west for wind. Any pointers or is it worth going?

      If the wind is really whipping I advocate launching out of the marina. Worth a few bucks.

      Yes worth going. Gonna be a rough ride! Look for warmer water especiall if its clean water back in the coves. Get out of the wind! Seek and find old creek channels ...more in these coves. They have silted in! Might only be a foot or less deeper than the surrounding water. If its warmer back there you should find them stacked. Be careful to find them then stay back as not to spook them . You will be looking at pretty shallow water.

      I was out a week ago. We had a short a 3.5 lber and a 4.5 lber. Tough tho. We were out easter for about 2 hours and had 1 about 14 in. That lake kicks our butts ...more too

      I know there is a big high school tournament on Saturday the 2nd also. 80+ boats
