    Bringing the wife & kids up 3-24-16 thru Sunday. Would anyone be willing to help point me to a decent spot ? My lil ol boat doesn't have a bottom finder ...more so I'm going off sight.       I love the idea free of bait ! But I left my darn cast net at the house :-(

      They won't bit on minnows. Get a casting net. Shad are everywhere. And free.

      Mr Langdon THANK YOU ! I will get the kids some minnows and hopefully they can catch a few of those. I've caught a lot of them but it would be kids first ...more lol. Daughter is almost 4 and my son is 7. Again, THANK YOU !

      Off of Black Point. Sand bass are coming into the shallows in the evening. Like now.

      Mainly after blue cat but anything to keep the kiddos busy on a reel would be fantastic.
