Second year fishing, fish mainly from my boat, newly retired...so I found fishing Last year and now I'm addicted, I'm now also thinking about ...more ice fishing! When I'm on the lake, I can't stop...all I think about is that next cast. So, this year I've been soaking it all in and trying all different baits and lures for all species. Walleye is what I had my mind set out to fish for but have only caught 1 and it was too small. I haven't caught any trout though I have seen them swimming past my bait...lol. Bass is what I've hooked the most of, so I have to say that they are my favorite species right now because I catch them the most. Just moved to North Carolina and now I'm fishing on Lake Fontana. I hope I catch some different and HUGE from Lake Fontana....lol! Happy fishing to all.
