    This 21" surprise from the surf put up quite the fight! Pompano rig, frozen shrimp and plenty of sunshine! Grayton Beach State Park was fantastic!

    Thank you Capital City Kayak Fishing for a fantastic tourney today benefiting so many beautiful children via Toys For Tots! Nabbed this big momma just before sunrise ...more on a slow sinking swimbait. Barely lifting off the bottom and a slower than slow retrieve. Didn't capture big bass but it was one gorgeous day in so many ways! Thanks Beau Reed!

    Holy moly! First night out on the new Diablo and a new PB: 25" +10.25 lbs!!! She threw herself onto the kayak and off the other side. Thought I had lost her ...more in the weeds but was able to haul her up! Patience was key tonight!

    Personal Best! 5.5 lb, 21.5 "!!! Never let fear of the unknown block progression! First time throwing a shaky head finesse worm. Took my time dragging along ...more the bottom, off a ledge into about 10 FOW. This momma swallowed it up and I nearly missed the subtle line tick!!
