      HUGE white crappie man, HUGE. 18"? they don't get much bigger than that! I promise you it weighed more than 1 lbs though at 18"!

      Yep, it's a crappie. I've seen them look like bass out of Pickwick in Mississippi. Usually the bigger they are the more they resemble bass. That's a ...more beauty, nice catch!

      Thanks guys! I was thinking it was a hybrid of some sort. Super thin, not much gut on these guys. Caught two of them while catching largemouth.

      Almost looks half bass and half crappie, head of a largemouth and body of a crappie but with that paper thin looking mouth I would guess crappie.
