Fishing Creek was hot with action Saturday and Sunday. Stripers were actively feed nearly all day and shad was in abundance. Seagulls were evening feeding on the ...more schools of baitfish. It was a sight to see!

Caught several up in Southfork past Burnside. Smallies, Lg mouth and KY's.

Caught up the arm past Burnside about 4 miles. Had two broke off, they were hitting good before the storms arrived. (Very windy day)

Sorry, I hit send too fast: work your bait from the bank all the way into 20-30ft of water. Most bites came soft by the KY bass, the largemouth hit it and run, the ...more smallies crushed it. My buddy broke a 6+ smallie off. It literally bent the hook straight.

My buddy Mike Middleton and I launched at Waitsboro and went about 10 miles up the river towards Monticello. Fished off the bank in and out of timber. Caught about ...more 10 total on jigs, worms and flukes. Tried spinnerbaits and crankbaits but they wouldn't hit. Plastic was the ticket.

Had it on a weighted swim bait hook. Just lifting it lightly and letting it fall to around 10 ft up in Pittman Creek, just passed the bridge.
