1. Do you have an email address I can reach you at? I've got 10 more of those totes coming if you want any.

Got a message from Bob yesterday. He spoke very highly of the work your doing. He was definitely interested in the totes. Said we have to go through hoops to get ...more permission. I was wondering if you have a map or list of locations of the structure you have put in? Have you guys ever considered combining your structure info? I have a fancy gps that I use so all I would need is a coordinate and description.

You can check out the regs @ senecaconservation.com I think children under 10 are free but it should all be on the web page. My boss also does a real good job keeping ...more up with current projects our department is working on with social media (Seneca Conservation facebook page). If you are bored check out the facebook page.

Did pretty good yesterday on perch! Is there a place to read the Seneca regs online? Do kids need a license? Planning on getting one next year. Along with yearly ...more parking pass. Lol

No, you do not need a NY license if you are fishing on Seneca Nation Lands. We have our own license as well as our own regulations. You can try to contact bob at ...more this email address that I have (mbboy@verizon.net). He is always looking for people to get involved, a lot of his members are getting older now so he lacks people who can physically do some work. Tell him that I sent you his contact info. You may have a pretty good idea with those large totes (I would assume that they are food grade quality plastics??). That may be something that I would be interested sometime down the line. Sounds like they would be real good for deeper water habitat.

I was looking at a map on Senecas website yesterday since I keep heading farther north. It looked like they have pretty much the whole reservoir on the NY side. ...more Would I need a NY license also or would the Seneca one cover me? I've been trying to get a hold of Bob Boyer from the kinzua fish and wildlife association. Want to join and get a map of structure they put in. Also had an idea for structure. Ever see those big square liquid tote things? I have access to some of those for free. I was thinking take a hole saw and make a bunch of big holes in it, throw some rocks in and sink it. Would last a really long time cause the bladder is plastic. What do you think? Could even stuff some sticks or something inside for better fish hiding.

A Seneca Nation license is 45$. It is good for all waters on Seneca Nation Lands (Mainly the Allegany River, Kinzua Reservoir and Cattaraugus Creek) 100% of the ...more revenue from the license sales go to the Walleye Hatchery for stocking as well as fish habitat projects. I will be doing a substantial amount of habitat and erosion projects in the reservoir over the next two years. I currently have over 2,300 artificial structures to be installed.
I would try looking for keeper eye's in the reservoir along the river channels.... look for drop offs along the channel edges in roughly 25'-30' depths. As for myself, I spend the majority of my time from summer and through fall in the river. There is exceptional fishing all along the river from Vandalia, NY all the way to the I-86 Bridges (Upper most part of the Reservoir). I would highly recommend you check out the river, it's a perfect venue for a canoe or kayak drift.

It's a little late in the season so I would stick to the P.A. waters. There is some good habitat in and around willow bay. Earlier in the year I would give Wolf ...more Run Bay (Seneca Nation) a shot. The bay is on the opposite side of the actual reservoir (there is a large pipe that connects the reservoir and the back bay area). It is not accessible by boat, Good luck!!!
