      Darren, I never did reply. YES, you are correct - not even a hybrid at all, actually. Just a boring Green Sunfish - but they are not terribly common though. Thx.

    Found a new group of ponds. Some success, my son was the winner - 5 bluegill and 2 tiny bass. I caught two on top water - floating Rapala.
