My favorite setup for open water fishing is a 13 Fishing Ambition 4'6" Med.Light Spinning Rod a Quantum EXO -PTi in a 10 or 20 size loaded with 4 or 6 lb Florocarbon Stren or Suffix (I will try any other combinations if you think you have something better... But if I'm paying out of pocket this is what I use.)
