i'm heading down on Sunday. I'm assuming the spawn has ended. Any pointers on where to look for walleyes right after spawn? I don't river fish much, ...more so any advice on what to look for would be helpful.

We're getting into the spawn now. I'd probably pitch jigs in shallower areas now. Most of the fish are migrating towards the dam area, but some saugers ...more will still be in that deep water. There's still time before the spawn is over, so there's still time. Once the spawn is over, fishing will drop off for a couple weeks. By the end of April fish will start moving back to the lake and the big females will be hungry.

  3. Fished Sunday and Tuesday below Colvill Park. Catch rate about 4/5 fish per hour Sunday, 3/4 on Tuesday. Mainly sauger but some walleye. No big fish. Some saugers ...more over 3 lbs. Bright colors 3/8 jig with fathead. 18-25 FOW. Not everyone catching fish. Heard the dam was dead on Tuesday. Water is real low. Most of my big fish spots are 4' out of water.

I am going to fish Coffeen Lake on Sunday, pretournament fishing. Does anyone have any pointers on where to start fishing?

It's not the size, it's what you do with it! Needed to vertical jig and with all the snags, had a hard time to control lighter jigs.
