Some tips confidence is key I mostly use top water early morning, or a spinner bait. When the sun comes up I mostly focus on slow moving baits like a jig, 7in curly ...more tailed worm Texas rigged, senko just plastic stuff but try to find cover like laydowns, grass, and rocks! Just keep trying but the bite is going to turn on from now till end of October because the water temp is dropping and the baitfish is going to be active and the bass are going to be schooling and eating so look for blowups and throw a jerkbait, senko, or a fluke! Hope the tips help you out I love helping people out! Any questions just holler at me on here and share pics of your catches as well!

Thanks you guys for the update. I have been mostly a Saltwater Ocean / Bay fisherman most of my life. So I am looking for as much detail about the freshwater scene ...more as possible. Not too much success yet. Just getting a few cats, bluegills, and rare crappie. The Bass seem to be avoiding any bait I use on a given day.

Depth was about 3 foot maybe not even that it was right at spawn. Bait was a spinnerbait!
