I'd start at the north end of the lake. Walls ramp or painters Creek will be good areas as they are shallower and should be a good place to locate the bait ...more fish and then the bass.

Heading down there in mid April. Never fished there before. What is a good area at that time for bass ?

Tim, I can't blame you one bit. 6ft waves is very nerve racking and difficult to fish. I thoroughly enjoy the harbor fishing. Caught a few smallies while in ...more there as well.

That's why we call it fishing am I right? haha. sorry about your dog day, if ya get froggy you might want to try the evening bite and I'd go for the line ...more to the left of the channel out to the big water

Brandon, sounds like you did well and had a lot of fun. I recently moved from that area (Oak Harbor) in large part because just couldn't get out when ever you ...more want on Erie. Wind blows 2-3footers and my bass boat is staying in, I have been caught out in 6ft wave No Fun. But the largemouth fishing in harbors, channels etc is just amazing, caught a 6+over 2yes ago. Great to hearThat it is producing nicely.

we caught well over a hundred bass during a tournament. The drop shot fishing was on fire. I'd give that a go in about 6 ft of water
