No it does not get crazy below the dam . Most of the retired guys i know really know where to get the crappie just because they have the time to put on the water ...more .

We should be fishing Thursday afternoon . May take a ride Thursday evening to see what size of fish they are catching . Had heard that it gets quite crazy below ...more the dam with all the people fish there . If you see a red Lund boat with Illinios numbers it may be me .

I heard they have been catching them really good right below the dam from the bank during the last couple of hours of the day. I plan to hit the lake Monday or ...more Tuesday evening and again on Thursday and will know more then.

Plan on coming to Truman next week . Seem like you are getting the some rain but not enough to make the lake really dirty . Have you heard or seen

any ...more crappies be caught on Truman .

Not on Truman. But I will be soon. I pre-fished for a bass tournament on Lake of the Ozarks both days this weekend. It was super tough but did see a ton of people ...more catching crappie.

Did a little more looking after your last post and found the name Brushy creek . Also found the boat launch . Thank you .Have you been out yet ? We still have hard ...more water in northern Illinios .
    8. Jeremy Fly 0
That's the one. There is a ramp located in the back of clear creek or you can launch at Windsor Crossing and run back down the lake.

Is Brushy creek the next creek arm on the right hand side of the lake . I do not see it marked on the fishidy map .

I spend most of my time chasing them in clear creek or brushy creek which are both off of the upper end of Tebo. Clear creek comes in to the north of Tebo island.

The coves on the left hand side of Big Tebo creeks look like the best starting spots ?
      Thanks Jeremy and William
    12. Jeremy Fly 0
Big Tebo and Little Tebo are both excellent creeks.

Is Tebo creek a good place to start ? Have never been on the lake . From the maps i have seen it looks like a good place to start .

The crappie spawn on Truman will be full swing then. Fish will be right on the banks in 1-3 foot of water. Good Fishing.
