My boats in the shop I'm cruising around in the rowboat I used when I was a kid, talk about being spoiled. it was sunny wind out of the East with a slight chop ...more on the water which kept The fish from being spooked. Caught 12 bass two of them 18 inches, The rest were smaller. Caught nine northern but nothing to speak of as far as size. It was a nice day on the water

Overcast toward evening, light wind out of south. Weeds, the mossy wet hair kind is already taking over. Wife and I went back 2 days later and places we were casting ...more into before were completely choked off. Pike are healthy and fun but previous years with this lake and weeds makes this year looking to be pretty bad right out of the gate. GOOD LUCK TO ALL
