    I am fishing the Riley's cup this weekend (first high school championship of the season) just curious as to the conditions, how low is the water? temperature? ...more what are the fish doing? If the water is low, are there any docks that are still in the water or fishable? If you are willing, I would like to save a couple of waypoints or spots in my phone so that my partner and I are not completely lost when we get there! thanks

      I'm fishing rileys cup and staying for LOI. My best bet would be on shaky heading marinas and docks. I'm not an expert on wylie but that's what my boat ...more captain had said as well.

      I live on lake Wylie and also fishing Riley's cup! Is this your first time fishing it? The water is very low, where I live on the lake there's 23 feet of ...more beach. The fishing is actually very good! There's many docks that are still fishable. Water temp on warm days are about 80.     Got a youth club tournament coming up this saturday down here, First time fishing the lake as well, what are they hitting and where? Also we may need boats and captains ...more for kids that don't have room any one interested? any advice would be much appreciated, thank you

      Shakeyhead worm on 1/8 oz weight. Worm is watermelon seed. Black worm works good. Mostly spotted and Largemouth Bass. Hit all docks and Brush piles.

      Tom,
      Here are some waypoints of mine to hit for the kids. I have always had goode luck using a smokin blue colored worms or lizards on that lake. Hope this helps.

    Details: lost denali j2 worm and jig rod with elite x highspeed baitcaster

    So, i got ready for a cast with my crankbait, caught my jig rod and ended up launching it into the lake, its in front of greg biffle's mansion in mcrary creek ...more in about 3.5-4.5 feet near the dock next to his house, if anyone happens to snag it or see it please call 704-657-7218, i loved this rig and although not the best of the best it caught me plenty of fish

    they like to school for very short periods, just pull the smallest crank bait you own right through there and I guarantee some fish

    7 pound largemouth in this pond right by the grate TONS of fish, not a lot of big ones
    fishing is not allowed so go during the work hours if you can
