Well, the ice has finally cleared Betsie Bay for the spring. There were reports of a few browns being taken in the inner harbor yesterday morning and our resident ...more brown trout nut Casey Richey is out now and catching a couple each time. As far as the steelhead action goes it has slowed considerably from what it was a week ago. The perch are biting well on crystal finally but you need to use extreme caution when getting on and off the lake, it sounds like the ice is getting shaky. Good luck, Capt. Dave
