    Going to hunt for some crappie on Sunday (80 degrees!). I'd like to stay north of the bridge, but it looks like there's a great crappie spot cove just south ...more and east of the bridge? Any thoughts? I really want to use jigs, not live bait.

      We caught three crappie (black and white), a yellow bass and a drum. Lots of strikes but didn't set the hook. We'll get them next time. The wind on Saturday ...more afternoon was pretty intense. It made for a wet ride back to the damn from just south of Hobson bridge.

      everyone says the crappie have been hitting the jigs. hobson pike bridge and jefferson springs bridge have both been giving up some good stringers. this should be ...more a good weekend for them.
