1. Looking to start fishing the Madison chain this year mostly for bass and musky. Can anyone give me some info and some tips? Thanks

      For bass: Best size goes to Mendota. Quantity is gonna be Monona.
      For Muskey: Monona or Waubesa

      The largemouth, for the most part will be at the edge of weedlines or inside of them Mendota is probably your best bet plus you may pick up some nice smallmouth. ...more For muskies, on Waubesa fish near Christy's Bar on the west side and on the east side, the area from just north of the McFarland boat launch up to near Barr's Resort. Also, try near the Green Lantern Restaurant which has shallower water. In Monona, try the City Shoreline from the Yahara River to the water ski area near the Frank Lloyd Wright Convention Center.
