Water Stained
I was out all by myself this afternoon with no scale to weigh this big gal. All I know is that she fought like a demon and feels like she weighs....well...a lot. ...more
I got her back in the water quickly cradling he in my hands and slowly rocking her back and forth. She stayed a long time which made me so happy. When she was finally ready she took off slowly and I watched her wake until it faded. I was assured she would live to fight again.
Iβm smiling but wish I wasnβt alone to share this with some one.
If this gal were a human she would definitely be a roller derby queen. She was all over the place first she jumped out of the water, flayed around a bit then took ...more off under the boat.
Details: 7 lb. 10 oz. Largemouth Bass with a jig
This gal decided to run off with my jag fortunately she headed to my left and not right at me I set the hook with a hard pull to the right and then I was in for ...more the ride of my life. This fish was in and out of the water no less than three times while I was trying to land her. I was shaking in my Lady angler topsiders. With the help of the Nadda brought a room big quick measurements and returned her to her own environment. This is the largest bass that I have had the opportunity to land and weigh.
This gal was great fun to real win but she fought hard and needed a little R and R afterwards. I held her in the water and rocked her forwards in the water then ...more picked her up and rocked her for it again then I just held her and her hands until she was ready to goshe sat there very content⦠For a while, then she turned around and bit me while swimming off. Just happy she's safe.
