Anybody have a good website that gives you up-to-date water temps for Monroe and Patoka? I have a couple of sites that give me water levels: water.weather.gov (a ...more NOAA site), and USGS Mobile Water Data.

On Monroe last weekend. Water temps reading 47 degrees back in Allen Creek. Caught several small crappie in 5-12 ft. on a steep bank with lay downs. No bass. Probably ...more still sitting out in the main lake channel waiting on the water to warm up a bit more.

Was out by Lake Monroe on Friday (03/07/14), still about 1/2 covered in ice. Getting water temp readings from USGS Mobile Water Data of 36 - 37 degrees in Salt Creek, ...more south of the Monroe dam. Still have some warming up to do. Hopefully a few days of 60+ degree weather will help. Gotta get out there soon!
