Jr Ruggiero 0It is not crystal lake. U must have fished butler tract. It is adjacent to cane lake and chuckatuck creek which both are brackish. Were u in a kayak today? If so, ...more I saw you. I fished the southern lakes and butler this morning before work. Only caught 3 small fish. They didn't cooperate for me. Good job Curtis.

Ed Hesse 0that the one that looks shallow. looks connected to river and brackish. One of those lakes is brackish. The ramp looks on the Crane side then you crossover.

Excellent depth and structures. Watch out for "flying" striped mullet (Thanks Jr.) in the summer.

Awesome! I thought they were carp because I kept seeing them in the water and assumed they were what was popping top so much. Or at least I thought I was seeing ...more carp in the water. Thats what they looked like but I could only see but so much.

They do not have flying carp. They are striped mullet that you see occasionally jumping.

Vacationed in Shenandoah in August on the South Shenandoah River. Canoeing the river was great. Smallmouth and bluegill were nearly jumping in the boat. My buddy ...more Mike caught a pretty large catfish on my ultralight spinning rig using a white Rooster Tail. The catfish took off up river and I had to paddle my heart out after it in order for him to land it. My collapsable net worked great!
