Anglers will have 7 weeks to catch any one of the tagged bass to win prizes. One bass will be worth $250,000.00! Many other prizes are going to be awarded so don't forget to stop by Ketch-um Bait Shop and pick up your Extravaganza badge!

  2. Crappies and Catfish are on fire right now on Grand. We are seeing a lot of limits of both. Crappies can be found in 4-10 feet of water on jig and minnow combos. ...more Catfish are good on jug lines on the main lake. They are still a lot of fisherman out on the lake but most of them or tight lipped about where they are catching fish. Good Luck!!!

  3. Catfish and crappies are still being caught, with a lot of limits being reported. I got out yesterday and we found crappies in about 12’-14’ of water. Look for ...more brush and hit around the docks, that’s where we found most of them. They were going pretty good on minnows. Anglers are catching catfish drifting with live perch or shad. They are also running trot and jug lines with live perch and cut shad. They have the flood gates open so there is a little current in the water which is always good for catfish. Good Luck!!!

  4. If it will ever stop raining on us, yesterday we saw about 2 ½ inches of rain fall. Up until then the fishing has been pretty steady. Crappies are hanging ...more out in 12-15 feet of water and biting on live bait, mostly crappie minnows. Catfish have been shallow around gravel bars and riprap shorelines. Nightcrawlers and shad have been the most consistant baits. White bass can be found on windy points. Toss spinners in a white color to find these fish. Good luck

  5. Not a lot of action going on this last few days with all the storms rolling thru and it looks like we will have another couple days of storms to look forward to. ...more Crappies have slowed down a little bit. catfish are still going strong. Bass are spotting and anglers are going to have to work for them. Plastics and Biffle Bugs are hot right now for bass. Once the weather gets back to normal we should start seeing better fishing. Good Luck

  6. Water Temp in the mid 50’s. Fishing has been great, but yesterday and today with a cold front moving thru everything just shut right off. Before the front though ...more we saw a lot of crappies off the banks, hitting on minnows and bobby garland plastics. We also bass up on the banks with a lot of crappie anglers catching some nice bass. Blue cats have also been fantastic before this rain, catching a lot of them on the largest shinners you can find, 4 in or bigger, and on cut baits. Report courtesy of Ketchum Bait and Tackle.

  9. Water temp 44-45 degrees...Crappies have been hot on live bait and small plastics. 4-5 feet of water seems to be the most popular depths. Report Courtesy of Ketchum Bait and Tackle.
