One of my favorite spots to hit the water, it's 5 minutes to home and on the way to work. Great fishing for Crappie, White Bass, Channel Cats, Bass, Bluegills. ...more I have particularly enjoyed the evening bite here on Sibley. Lake. Whether you to out the boat or fish from the bank, it is a seriously fine fishery. In fact it was the venue for the FLW College Regional Bass Championships just a couple of years ago. I really enjoyed covering it for KNTS TV, and my Alma Mater went from here to the nationals that year, as well!

Just a note on the best, full service marina on this section of the Red River. Midway Marina in St. Maurice, is just that, great fishing, accommodations, tackle ...more store, restaurant, Boat Launch, etc. I just need more time to enjoy this wonderful facility, located on a horseshoe of the red and fed by Saline Bayou. I'm hoping for a 3 or 4 day weekend early this spring so my wife and I can spend a little quality fishing time here . By the way you won't find a nicer more friendly group of folks then Doc and his crew!
