      I live about 1 1/2 from the lake the south shore is closest for me . I fish the lake often on the weekends . weather permitting I usually run the whole lake through ...more out the day. from Lewis point to the sholes up to big bay

      I have never personally launched from there. I live on the north shore an launch from big bay marina or the dec launch on the north shore it's called godfrey's
