    Details: White Bass

    Good haul from Portland City lake, the lake was very glassy but it was super hot (95°.) we were flipping the bank with brush hogs when we saw Whitebass breaking ...more the surface. Could only pull out one since they were getting spooked easily. Then went back to flipping the bank, the changed to a spinnerbait. Caught one bass on that (post later) found a shaded tree on a deep bank and caught 25 crappie⬇️

      Point covered with buck bushes. I caught a 4lber but it spit it out at the boat. So did another 2lber three casts later. All In all good day of fishing.

    Nice little channel cat I got on a jug last Saturday. Went out and threw a couple jugs out and let the wind blow them back into the bay's for overnight. Got ...more my yak out the next morning and out of 8 jugs only one cat. It was a little chilly that night (mid 40s) and most of the jugs were in 15 FOW. Clear night and no moon. The cats were on a reef that ran along the bank, lots of grass on the reef
