There is a good launch and parking at Turee Pond and the weed lines held some two pound bass. Use a Big Eye frog to bring them out of cover. Gets crowded on weekends and in the evenings.
This is an easy place to launch a boat and their is a lot of pads and vegetation for cover. Mostly small bass were caught the day we were their although a local says he catches 4 pound plus often.

Fish around the peninsula. There are some ten foot deep pockets off of the point that should hold bass. Fish a plastic worm slowly on the bottom. Easy to find boat ramp.
The state record perch was caught here in 1959 and from what is still being caught, the next may come from here also. There is limited access but worth the trouble. A good walk in spot also.
