This is an easy place to launch a boat and their is a lot of pads and vegetation for cover. Mostly small bass were caught the day we were their although a local says he catches 4 pound plus often.

    After 30 min of catching only bluegills, catching this slab on an ultralight spinning tackle was a nice change.

    I was at Turtle Pond trying out a new lure on ultralight tackle when the pickerel attacked it on the drop.
