:Portage Lake is a part of the Keweenaw Waterway in Houghton County, Michigan. It is connected to Lake Superior on two sides via the Portage Canal. Because of it's connectivity to The Big Lake, one never quite knows what species of fish will bite next.

Found a pair of nice crappies yesterday. Only caught two but they were good ones!
