    Rivers up nort finally coming back down after a couple months of steady,heavy rain. Been finding quality fish tight to woody cover/shade. Spinnerbaits,craws,swimbaits ...more & flukes getting things done. This 21" slob smallie instantly boiled on the fluke & started ripping drag. 4lb9oz Air87 Water78

      @justLMbass Delavan is a great fishery,I've been there about a dozen times. You'll eventually run into a 5lb smb.

      @elcapidano1 Thanks, Keitech makes a real nice swimbait. A bit more $ than the rest but it works great. Had to drop the bait to the floor to get em to bite.

      Look at the Mohawk on that fish! They really love that squid scent on those Keitech baits. Beautiful fish bossman👊

    With so many sturgeon hugging the floor,this was bound to happen. Snagged this 40"er w/swimbait rig while going for smallies. Lost a 5'er moments later ...more as well. 20 min battle. Released.

    One of my favorite,remote spots on the Menominee River. 3 miles upriver from Saler boat launch thru a couple small rapids. Small rocky island providing a fantastic ...more photo op.
