    Was fishing for bluegill at greenbo this morning and managed to catch my biggest bass of the year!! I was cruising along and saw a beaver da.m and I've had good ...more lock fishing around them before so I decided to throw the dinger at it and he slammed it on the first cast! I'm guessing around 2.5-3 pounds. I really need to invest in a scale... Shortly after this I had to get towed back to the marina.

    Another beautiful shellcracker at greenbo lake. Immediately after those caught one that was slot bigger than my hand, but could t get a pic before he flopped out ...more of the boat. Felt like I was reeling in a frying pan. Lol But my string of bad luck continues because after about an hour of fishing my battery started to die on my motor. Took 3 hours to get back to the marina.

    Took the boat out to greenbo today and caught a bunch of bluegill. These 2 were the biggest/ prettiest.

      I thought the same thing but according to the state there is no crappie in that lake.

      Wow the one on the right looks half bluegill and exactly half crappie, cool catch.

    Buddy caught this fishing off a point around timber. It was around 11 am. He was using a large rapala minnow in rainbow trout pattern.

      Only time I ever use a jig that small in a big pond or lake might be under a bobber you're pretty much gauranteed mostly sunfish though maybe a few crappie but ...more rarely any bass.

      Alright I've never used these so u ever use them anywhere else besides creeks

      I love these for creek fishing jigged along bottom on overcast days or if the water is stained. The Sunnies and an occasional Spotted or Rock bass will tear these ...more up.
