Caught this nice snook off the beach in Sanibel, FL. Snook were everywhere busting up on huge schools of baitfish. The water was pretty clear and the snook were ...more cruising along the shore. Working the minnow slowly and those snook crushed it. Caught a total of 11 snook. Really fun day!

As mentioned in previous post, fish got bigger as week went on. :) This one went about 30" and caught on my last night on Sanibel... Almost last cast as sun ...more was going down. Love it when that happens! Most caught on above bait, but also called a few on mirrordine. A great week, and can't wait for next year. God bless!

Well, the annual trip to Sanibel was awesome again this year. Got to fish a little over a week on the beaches and the pass. At first the snook were smaller size ...more (17-18"), but got bigger as week went on. One morning got 17 in less 45min at the pass - on fire. This one was 26" and a drag ripper! I kept forgetting I have a 25lb leader. Also caught lot trout and even flounder.
