  7. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Live Target Lunker Frog | Quantum Centex 7.0.1 Baitcast Reel | Abu Garcia Veritas 7ft Heavy Rod | Trilene 15lb Big Game Mono

Did some pond hoppin on our last day in Florida w/ @Canon_Kilgus. Overcast, 90 dgr, 5mph winds, stained water. We came up on a new pond that was flourishing with ...more reeds & vegetation so we had to put on frogs. Only caught 5 but should have had atleast 20. You need braid when using hollow bodies around reeds because braid has the "no stretch" feature unlike mono which will stretch. Had a great trip!

  9. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Shiners on a mustad 1/0 live bait hook with a 4 ft 15# mono leader and 40# braid

Casting shiners next to docks and hoping they swim under the dock and then wait a little and in no time fish on

  10. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Live Shiner on 1/0 Mustad Live Bait Hook w/ 15lb Trilene Big Game Mono | Quantum Centex 7.0.1 Baitcast Reel | Abu Garcia Veritas 7ft Rod

4lb Hog I caught earlier with @Canon_Kilgus. Pitching docks with free lined shiners in 5-7 FOW. The best way to find fish late summer here is wherever the bass can ...more find shade like under a bridge, dock, etc. All fish we caught today and yesterday were caught under shade. I pitched the shiner to where it went under the dock and it slammed it. It was also on my last cast before we left. Great day!
