I went to turquoise about 500 yards east of damn on Southside. We caught our limit in about 2 hours. I had to use bait as opposed to lures as the wind was blowing ...more 20 miles per hour. trout were hitting on everything I put out worms, Power Bait, floating marshmallows. range from 12 to 16 inches. the lake is very low probably due to expected runoff. hit it now.

Turquoise's water level continues to rise and now appears more respectable as a fishing and boating reservoir. Catching is still good, but varies from time to ...more time during the cay and from spot to spot. Bait of all kinds and spinner type lures still the most used for trout.
