Fished Prosser on OCT 6. Have to walk a long way to get to water. Lake is really low now. Very slow. Hardly any bites. Very seldom see the fishing that slow.

I have never fished by the creek, always fished near the dam and down 1/2 mile each way. I have caught lots of trout at Prosser over the years. One of my favorite ...more places to fish. Can't believe how many homes are in the area now! Used to be a single lane dirt road with forest all around. Planning to come up and try the little truckee towards Sierraville, and maybe Cold Creek. I stopped fishing those some years ago but now I have some time since I retired! Thanks again for the info. Don't know if you have ever seen it, but there is a 'flyover' of Prosser on YouTube. Kind of neat. Norm

I noticed on my second trip to Prosser two weeks apart, the bite changed. Yes, had hits on lures but early morning and evening the trout were hitting the surface ...more bugs. I recommend a fly during those times. Near the mouth of the creek, you can see the fish including Small Mouth Bass just they all did not care to bite except one!
