  5. Details: Largemouth Bass

Another nice one on the frog. Fish wanted it fast today. Burning the frog and the legs on the back would twirl and create a buzz-bait like action. Caught most the ...more fish this way but a few twitching it. Conditions were hot and humid at 85*, overcast, 8:30 pm, stained water.

  6. Details: Largemouth Bass

Another big one on the frog. Frog has been producing a lot of 4 pound plus fish lately. Weeds have gotten really thick and matted and punching and frogging are the ...more only ways to fish effectively. I like to cast out and move the frog quickly over the grass, then when it hits open water I'll let it sit and slightly twitch it. Conditions were hot and humid, 85*, right before a storm, 8pm.

  7. Details: Smallmouth Bass

4 biggest. Probably had a 5 fish bag of 18-20 lbs.

  8. Details: Largemouth Bass

Nice Michigan hog on the frog! Did a little punching and caught a few nice fish. As it started to get dark I figured I'd try the frog. Definitely paid off. I ...more landed this big guy as well as 3 other nice pass and 3 pike in about 30 minutes. Fishing matted grass with some pockets of open water. Using 50lb braid with a medium heavy rod. Caught at 9:00 pm. Temp was 75, water was clear, no wind or cloud

      Good fish
  9. Details: Largemouth Bass

Biggest bass of the year so far and a possible pb largemouth. Casted parallel to the shore in about 3-4 fow. Let it sink and gave it one big hop and he hit it. Good ...more fight with some jumps and runs. Air temp was right around 65* water temps are at 60-61* so these fish should be on beds any day. Caught at 7 pm.

Maximum 65 feet deep. Focus on the areas in and around the holes. You can catch fish on all the usual baits but one of my favorite is slowly fishing a spinnerbait along the deep weedlines.
