    Tough day yesterday out fishing, first time out on the ranger for 2015! Took awhile to find them and they were picky! Finally found them off of a rock wall anywhere ...more from 15-28 FOW dropshotting along place where I could find any type of structure, yesterday it was rock. Caught this nice 2-1/3 lbs. smallmouth and 2 more small ones the were in some really deep water.

      This is about 35 minutes out of boise, it is just outside of kuna. Right by the air force base in mountain home is CJ strike dam... It has good fishing too! @SD_9

    Exactly one week ago today I was out catching smallies...... Can't believe that its already winter. I'm so surprised that I was catching smallmouth only ...more 7 days ago!! And now it's 20-30 degrees! Now it's a waiting game until the lakes freeze over! Hope you guys are all getting out there and catching some fish!!! Be safe everyone!

      It's 3 degrees up here and on some ponds/small lakes 2-3" of ice but on the bright side only 4 months till thaw and 6 months till spawn till then break ...more out the tiny marabou jigs and 3ft poles!!

    Details: Smallmouth Bass with a Donkey rig: black back white 3" flukes

    That's how you like to see them eating it right!!?? Found a good spot that had quite a few rocks and it looked to be a sandy/ gravel bottom for the most part ...more with some vegetation and grass. The shoreline had some over hanging trees and bushes as well. Jerking the donkey rig for these smallies that are feeding up for the winter and man they all hit it hard!! Love the donkey rig!!

      Yea I believe it had shad but I can be sure, it just mimicks small minnows, shad, or any other light colored baitfish

      This is actually the snake river. Just an area that has a fan on it, it backs up water and makes it more like a resevoir but obviously it is really long, narrow, ...more and has flowing water.

      And darting and being erratic and that it made the bass crazy so I tried it, first time ever last weekend and all I can say is wow!! The action is like no other ...more and it defiantly catches fish!!! @Jose_Can_senko

      Yea! Did you see that on YouTube? Haha I saw a video on that. I heard the rig was good for bass in the fall and it mimicked 2 baitfish that strayed from the school ...more and they were like chasing eachother

    Awesome fishing yesterday! Great day with the wind dying and the sun coming out. Fished some new spots and had a great day of fishing for these beautiful brown ...more fish in fall! Went back to our spot that we usually go to and caught 1 good size smallie, last cast of the day and this big girl hit It hard! Gave me a run for my money on the ML dropshot rod! She was about 3lbs, biggest one of the day!

    Hey skouters! I need some help with my new gopro hero 3+ black. I am having some trouble with my gopro and finding a setting for the frames per second, resolutions, ...more and all of those types of things. It takes good picture but when I video and try to load it on my phone it is always really blurry?! Any suggestion? All input is welcome!
