Work has to be done to keep it clean. I take mine apart 2 times a year and it works like new, just oil the major parts after you're done for the day.

I use a Abu Garcia 7000 you can get the 7000i for about 50 dollars cheaper but it works just as good. I've reeled in 70 pound blue cats and flatheads on it. ...more Very powerful reel and not a lot of.....

First Pensacola surf fish! Waded to the first bar throwing into first gut. Hooked 8 but all would go airborne and spit the hook besides this one... They are lucky ...more my Penns aren't here yet 😎

Dude, sharks love lady fish . At night off of any of our piers, okaloosa , Navarre, panama city. Or east pass
    2. Capt_Jack 0
You don't have to go too far out. Check out @Blood_Brothers catch from shore here in the Keys last week
    3. fishingmatt 0
@Capt_Jack it gets deeper much quicker off the beach here than Texas... Does that mean I don't have to go out very far?
    4. Capt_Jack 0
The sharks love lady fish. Yes catching sharks will be easy in Fl. Big ones too 😂😂 @fishingmatt
    5. fishingmatt 0
@Capt_Jack I know you're an offshore guy but can you catch small sharks before the first bar here in Florida? On maybe small chunks of ladyfish. I don't ...more see why not, it's very deep

  9. Arrives in Pensacola today. Much different than Texas! I saw ZERO baitfish in about an hour and there was a green mossy seaweed in the water. The bars and guts are ...more different. Emerald green water

What bait? What rod? What reel? What did the water look like? How far was the bait out? Wanna meet me at the beach next week? I have a fishing scout I can fish better ...more than people who don't.

We catch sheepshead in Louisiana for bait then bring them to Florida. The sharks love em'!!
    5. jeanpear reyes 0
      I caught a 150 pounder on a 3 inch shad
    6. jeanpear reyes 0
Try shad or live mullet but mullet are also harder to catch there in Florida for some reason
    7. fishingmatt 0
      @jeanpear713 what bait?
    8. jeanpear reyes 0
Yeah the reds aren't surf fish like Texas there, and when I went I hooked up into a tarpon and I didn't expect that
    9. fishingmatt 0
The water went from about next deep in the WADE GUT to about knee deep on top of the first bar where I was... Strong left to right current. Big rolling waves. We ...more will see how the week goes
