Lake Cherokee Fishing Reports

Recently shared catches and fishing spots

  1. 2 lb. 9 oz. 17.0 in. Largemouth Bass with a googan mondo worm

  2. I am 15 years old and fish this lake pretty hard. I have no trouble putting together 5 fish limits for around 15 pounds. I also have no trouble catching numbers ...more of fish. Most days ranging anywhere from 20-40 bass. I have caught a few 20-25 pound bags, but am hungry after that 25-30 pound bag. I understand the best time to do this is during the Pre-spawn and spawn, but I am wondering if any of y'all have any advice one where to increase the quality of my bags. I fish hard on east side of the lake. I tend to stay out of the creeks until spawn. I fish points, creek swings, and docks with brush piles. I fish these more than anything else. I throw 4 main baits on this lake: dropshot, shakeyhead, whacky worm and jerk-baits. If any of y'all have any brush piles, road beds, ledges, or anything else to that sort; could you please share it with me to help me increase my bags. Thank you, Cooper Mayes!

  3. Caught this one back during the spawn. I have no trouble putting together 5 fish limits for around 15 pounds. I fish this lake all the time and have figured it out ...more pretty well. I am still looking for some spots where I can put together some 20-30 pound bags. If you could help me out, that be great!!!
