      I am catching some small Crappie 3ft from the bank along the rip raft all around the point area. Fish late evening near submerged logs and tree limbs. Get hung up ...more a lot too. Have fun.

      Ed I don't think they have added any fishing structure around this dock. I jigged for crappie around it a few days ago and no hits other than a small bluegill ...more that I caught.

      Raccoon Lake has been lowered to allow work on the dam and gates. The boat ramp is closed. The boat ramp and parking lot and surrounding area has been blacktopped ...more and looks really good. Now all we need is rain to fill the lake again.

      Ran into one of my fishing buddies. He said he threw everything and every presentation today on Raccoon lake and never got a hit. The bass have shut down, more than ...more likely lake temps and oxygen levels. Plus the lake level is down some.
